1 step back....2 steps forward

Today is a bummer because I’m up a pound. That just sucks. I’ll be incredibly strict today, measuring portion sizes, etc.

My doctor says I shouldn’t go by the scale, but by the way my clothes fit…whatever!! I want that scale number to go down. I’ll also run on the treadmill today so that hopefully whatever is “stuck” will kick start my metabolism again.

Sad :(

  1. I actually am going to avoid weighing for the next few days. The scale is fine but my measurements are not to my satisfaction so I am going by that for a little while!

  2. That's probably a great idea. It's just that the damn scale is an obsession for me. The nurse says I should throw the scale out...but I haven't been able to bring myself to do that yet. I can't imagine waiting a whole week to look at the scale...!!!

  3. Hang in there Kim. I understand the obsession with the scale, but two cups of water can make the difference of a pound. If you've been eating right, it's got to be water. Eat some spinach and radishes. They are natural diuretics! Good luck!

  11. what kind of HCG diet are you on Kim? I am really struggling with my second round of the diet. I see that you all are eating foods that I thought we could not eat. I am also trying to do Power 90 with the diet and am finding myself very hungry. I wonder if the exercise is interferring the weight loss. I am also spotting. That did not happen the first round. I will take any advice possible. :)

  14. Hello! I just started the HCG diet. I'm trying to stick to the diet as best as possible. I had my two gorging days, my first day was horrible as my daughter was extremly ill and we spent 5 hours in ER. Today was much better except I cheated a little. Eat out is extremly hard on this diet! Do you have any tips?

  26. So I know this is really late in comparison to the post but hopefully this might help some of the other HCGers out there looking for answers when confronted with a stall like this. HCG Triumph, the brand I get my drops from, recommends either an apple day or a steak day (explained here) Hope that helps anyone facing similar problems

  27. Weight loss typically involves the loss of fat, water and muscle. Overweight people, or people suffering from obesity, typically aim to reduce the percentage of body fat. Thanks.

  28. Some cancerous tumors produce this hormone; therefore, elevated levels measured when the patient is not pregnant can lead to a cancer diagnosis. However, it is not known whether this production is a contributing cause or an effect of tumorigenesis. Thanks.

  29. Hi Kim, I know its kinda late to respond to your blog but I find your soul so strong that you don't even allow anyone to get on your way as long as you want to push through with your goals.
buying HCG and using it at the same time is an admirable quality that all aspiring dieters must do in order to achieve their goals. If they will let people affect their decisions, their goals might end up nowhere.

    Congrats to you kim!
